Whenever I use a tampon (even for 1-2 hours) I get a bad headache afterward. This has happened for as long as I can remember. Maybe it's just my anatomy, but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else, or if anyone has suggestions.

I've never heard of the correlation between tampon use and headaches.
does using a tampon cause you stress? Because stress/anxiety/muscle tension can cause headaches.

I am not really sure it is tampon related as much as just menstration related. I often get very bad headaches just before or at the very beginning of my period.
If you think it is because you are using a tampon, try pads for on period and see if that makes a difference.

no. STOP using tampons!! eventually you may get sick or something worse! I know pads feel gross but atleast you arent putting yourself in harms way. besides noone can see your pad if thats what you are worried about! call the 1 800 number thats on the tampon thing or consult your doctor.

You may be connecting the headache with the tampon when u should connect the headache with your period. Try using midol or pamprin.....i bet your headache goes away!
