my wife would like to get back on birth control but the pill and paches make he moody and sex is not in the option when she moody do you thing the Nuvaring would be a good change .
and if you have used it what do you think of it

The reason I ask is I love my wife. I'm a researcher and Sex Ed Teacher and i always looking for thing to help other in there sex life.

I was on the nuvaring and it was wonderful.... You can take it out for up to three hours during intercourse-- but remember to put it back in!!! :) As far as moodiness, they are the same hormones as the pill and patch, but in a steady even flow, so she may have some relief from the symptoms, unless it truly is the hormones themselves, at any level, that are making her crabby. I highly suggest trying it though. I loved when I was on mine.

it still has the same hormones in it as the pill, so she still might have some of those side effects. But not necessarily! Just have her try it. It is so much better than taking the pill everyday!

I am on it and I love it. My sex life is even better! The only side effect I have on it is discharge.

Mine wouldn't stay in place. But I believe the hormones are similar.

i used the nuva ring when it first came out. i got pregnant using it.

I'm not sure why you are asking this and not your wife.

She should discuss other alternatives with her doctor.
