I am 20 and getting ready to get married... but I have to go to the OB/GYN for a PAP.... what is it like... what can I expect... does it hurt... I have been putting this off for like 2 years but now have no choice... so what is it like?

here's the situation. my 15 yr old friend thinks she has uti from having intercourse which won't go well with her parents. she can't go to the doctor because the insurance her parents have alot of doc's don't take. When she does get a doctor she doesn't kno if they will say why she has uti and she definitely dosen't want that 2 happen. She thinks she's had it for a couple of years now. What can she do? please help thanx!

My step-daughter has a UTI. She recently had oral surgery and has about 5 days worth of antibiotics left (she refused to take them any longer because she was tired of it) so we kept them around for a "just in case" situation. The pennicilin dose for the oral surgery was 500 mg x 4 a day. Can she take this same does for the UTI or should she reduce it?

Before you ask... the reason we have not called her doctor was because they would want her to come in (understandably) but she feels she cannot miss school as she's getting a "C" in one of her classes and is about ready to die over it.

Please only serious answers with thought put into it, not just "sure" or "no"

My leg (usually my right side) hurts like a nerve pain after sex. My gyno's never heard of such a thing. It all started after my first pregnancy. I've had 3 kids, the youngest is now 5, but it still occurs every time after sex. Is hard to stand, and is very uncomfortable. Its usually gone by late afternoon. It only happens when we have sex in the morning. If we have it in the middle of the night and I sleep afterwards, I'm OK in the morning. Funny thing is that its only with penetration. If I get an orgasm but he doesn't enter, it doesn't happen. Any possible explanations?

Ok, so i am a very clean person and i have never had a yeast infection (20 yrs old) and yesterday morning i woke up, went pee and it burned. now everytime i go, when im done i have this weird burning and feeling that i am not done, but i am. any ideas? this is driving me crazy.. not to mentions kinda hurts.
what are the symptoms of a yeast infection?

Before my period comes I am perfectly fine. But, when it come and for 4-5 days of wearing pad, my stuff has an odor. The smell only last about 2 days. I went to the doctor before my period and I have no infections, or std's what could be the cause of this odor? Is it just from wearing the wet damp pads or what?

My doctor said that my 20 week ultrasound didn't show anything serious, but they are going to do a second ultrasound because she didn't think they got a good measurement of the fluid in one of the chambers of the baby's brain. Is this not something to worry about? The ultrasound did not show a mis-shapen head. Are they screening for the possibility of hydrocephaly? If so, what are the statistics on hydrocephaly and are there any good web photos of ultrasounds that show abnormal levels of fluid in different chambers of the brain? Does anyone experienced in this have any additional information about this? When I go in for the second ultrasound - are there specific questions that I can ask? I don't want people hiding the truth - I just want to know what's going on. I'm not afraid.

my daughter was a vegitarian and she wasn't eating any protine at all. just yesterday i sat and talked to her about the importance of getting the protine she needs. to make a long story short, i got her to start eating meat again...was i wrong for doing that or am i right for getting her to eat meat for the protine?

it was not our first time(when we where boyfriend girlfriend we had sex with condoms).we just got married (llike less than a month)now we had sex everyday. she said she feels like my penis reaches her uterus(or whatever u call that) and some positions hurt her. recently we see little blood on her mucos (from her vigina after sex).last night we saw lots of it mixed in mucos. she feel no pain on peeing nor abdominal pain or dysmenorrhea.she said its still a week to go for her menstration.
this morning there is no more blood.what happened?does any of u experience this?
she feels no pain.only on sex she said she thinks my penis is long.is it dangerous for my penis to touch her too deeply?
