Sounds like a urinary tract infection. Go to the drug store and get AZO or the generic equivalent. This med will reduce the burning and other symptoms and give you time to get to your regular doctor. If you don't have one, get to an urgent care center. A regular doctor will be able to prescribe the antibiotic you need. You don't need a gyno appointment.

However, antibiotic use can help a yeast infection occur. www.hufa.org has some basic info on yeast syndromes. Search yahoo answers for other persons' descriptions of symptoms.

This sounds more like the beginnings of a bladder infection than a yeast infection. Yeast infections usually cause severe vaginal itching. Cranberry Juice does wonders when used at the beginning of a bladder infection. But be sure to use 100% Cranberry Juice. There are also over the counter aids like AZO and CranActin that can stave off an infection before it gets too bad. The number of bacteria can double every 20 minutes, so seek treatment right away if you do not get immediate relief from over the counter treatments.

If it hurts when you pee, especially when your bladder is almost empty, I'd say you most likely have a UTI (Bladder Infection). Drink lots of water and call your doctor for some Macrobid or other antibiotics. A UTI can get very serious very quickly.

The symptoms of a yeast infection is white, "cottage cheese" discharge, itching, burning, redness. They are easily treated and it has nothing to do with being "clean" or not.

Good luck.

That's not a yeast infection, that's a bladdar infection! Yeast infections itch like mad on the labia, and even into the vigina, but not where urine comes from. A bladdar infection on the other hand will burn everytime you urinate. The best cure is antibiotics which a doctor can prescribe. an alternative cure is to drink cream of tartar(a couple table spoons) in water (it's really really gross, but it works) And don't worry about being clean. Yeast infections and bladdar infections happen to everyone. Hope it clears up!!

sweetie, you have a bladder infection, not a yeast infection,(which is in the vagina). Drink lots of water, or cranberry juice and take vitamin c. leave off cokes until it clears up. if you don't get better within a few days, go to the doctor for antibiotics.

Yeast infection shows up as a discharge and if bad enough, it looks like cottage cheese.

Sounds more like a Urinary Tract Infection, cranberry juice is good at preventing them, but once you have one you need to see a doctor. A yeast infection has terrible itching of the vagina area, plus a yellowish discharge with a bad odor.

If it is a yeast infection, then you should also have a discharge. It sounds like it could possibly be a uti (urinary tract infection). Go to Webmd.com and look up both of those things, look at the symptoms. Both need to be treated asap. Good luck.

Start eating Live Bio Yogurt, this will cure yeast infection, once cleared,
eat the yogurt regularly at least once a week, especially during the summer season. Nylon undies can also aggravate it, so try to wear cotton, as well
as ironing your undies on a high heat can kill the bacteria, (my local doc told
me), wear loose fitting clothes until problem goes.
Unfortunately its one of the many joys of being a woman!
Regards.

sounds to me like you have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) I have had many of them. You need to drink lots of water and/or cranberry juice. At your local pharmacy they have "Cranberry Pills" that are made for UTI's. A yeast infection you would have a discharge, you would definitely know if you had a yeast infection.
