i just had a baby 4 months ago and i am having a little trouble. i just started my first period and can't get the tampons to stay in. i didn't start using them until my son was 3, so i don't know if this is normal. i can't go back to pads, i think it's just so gross. i mean after 4 months shouldn't it have shrank back enough to keep a tampon in? i haven't had sex or anything...am i just out of practice? i thought i was getting it in right because i can''t feel it there but then not even an hour later i feel it coming out. what is the deal? am i doing something wrong?? when i DO get it to stay in only one side absorbs and the other side stays white, then it leaks into the panty liner. i'm so confused.

OK I was in today to have an injection in my lower back about a herniated disc. The doctor informed me that one of the discs had broken and part of it was floating around in my back. So now I am trying figure out is it a good thing to just take the injection or have the surgery

I am concerned that I may have uterine fibroids. My period has changed signifcantly from my norm of 3 days of light bleeding to 1 day of spotting, 2 days of very heavy bleeding (leaking through super plus tampon ever 2 hours), 2 days of regular bleeding and another 2 days of spotting for a total of 7 days now. My period has also changed from every 28 days to every 26 days. Each month my period has gotten longer and heavier. My mother had fibroid tumors and had to have a hysterectomy. It is my understanding fibroids are hereditary. I would like to know about natural obtainable cures that actually work.

i seem to have irritable bowels. im having diarreah, gas, cramping. occasional abdominal pain . not sure what foods to eat. been eating alot of grilled chicken, or lunch meat, or pbj sandwiches as well as soup. does anyone know if beef stew in a can will make the bwels mad or upset them? they seem to get upset, come out, feel better, i eat, im fine, then later gas and cramping occur...then sometimes i get the diarreah problems. its a variety of different occurences, so im hoping its just IBS. so with IBS what foods can i eat on a daily basis? is IBS going to be irritated no matter what i eat? what would be some good lunch ideas to take to work with me? i appreciate all the ideas and suggestions i can get. thank you.

i have a cat and im told to not change the kitty litter because of toxoplasms making the baby retarede or misscarry. but what about if the cat just went and climed up on me, isnt that the same as changing the litter? i dont change the litter but im concerned about her tracking it arounds me, does anyone know about this?

I was recently legaly seperated but now we got back together and its working out good , during that time I was seperated I had sex with a old freind just once and I have been worried she could be pregnant. She had her tubes tied 17 years ago and she thinks i am nuts, She has had 2 normal periods and even took a home pregnancy test just to shut me up which turned out negative but I am a worry wart.

What do you guys think am I just be stupid and need to stop worrying about her being pregnant?

I am getting my old mirena removed soon and and new one put in..I am very nervous as the first insertion just about killed me. Are some DR.s more gentler than others at removing/ inserting than others? I asked my regular DR for something to numb me and he said there really wasn't anything I could take. I was offered some Tylenol 3 by a good friend..would that work ok?
