Women's Health - June 2006

I am 18yrs old and usually pretty normal (within a few days) but this month I'm over 3 weeks late. I did spot once a few days ago but only one spot and that was all (which I never do). I really don't think I'm pregnant. I have no other sign or symptoms of pregnancy. I'm not under any kind of stress and I haven't gained or lost any weight recently or changed anything. I'm just so confused about why I haven't got my period this month. Should I see a doctor or give it another month or so? Thanks for any help!

i spend countless nights scratching my head, it is so ridiculous. I can stay up all night scratching, i've washed my hair with everything under the sun for this does anyone have any suggestions on how to cure this or at least stop it enough so i can get a good nights rest

I wear color contacts....actually I've been wearing them since I was 15. Now i'm 19....and i've seen my eye sight get worse. Not horrible though. So I bought glasses to rest my eyes. I've also heard about a fungus that is affecting the eye, with the Renu Solution for contacts. What truth is there in both of my questions?

Im 14 and I already have dark circles!!!! I think its not enough sleep cus I study until like 12-1:30. Please help! Is there any laser treatments if there is sites would be nice. Advices and tips are ok too. If you had dark circles and got rid of them tell me pleaseeee!

I am going to vegas on July 29th. By my calculations I will be on my period during that time. Is there a way to postpone my period, without taking birthcontrol pills. I am not taking any, and don't plan on it (i'm married). I need another way.. maybe a pill that the doctor can perscribe me????

Today I punched a kid on the bus and he is so mean to me, he threw gum in my hair and he punched my basketball. I had enough of him so I punched him. What if I get a detention ? What will I tell my principal? Did I do the right thing?

I'm 28 and just developed lactose intolerance. Took the piils and had a (semi large) milkshake and still got sick. Guess the milkshake was a bit much to start with. Can anyone who has this condition tell me how much dairy they can eat with the pills? How have you handled this condition and what suggestions do you have concerning lactose free foods? I purchased soy milk and it's ok, a little sweet but it will work. I'm kinda scared of the soy yogurt though.

I started having random headaches a couple of weeks ago. My head would kinda hurt and then it would go away. I was treated about three months ago for elevated blood pressure and was taking meds to get it under control. Well since then I've lost 35 pounds and cut everything bad out of my diet, but the headaches just don't seem to be going away and have gotten more bothersome as the days go on. It is more like a pressure pain that is in the back and top of my head. I will have random throbbing pains in my temple and forehead. My BP has been excellent and I stopped taking the BP meds, but still the headaches remain. I've tried EVERYTHING!! Exedrin, Tylenol, Aleve, you name it. I've been to my doctor and she ordered a CT Scan. I'm kinda nervous. I've never had headaches like this before..

My girlfriend doesnt orgasm when we have sex. I have actually only gotten her off a few times in the past year but I had to use oral and that doesnt work all the time. When we have sex I try to stimulate her clitors with my hand but she just slaps my hand away and tells me to stop. She says it is to sensitive (how do I get her off if I cant touch her there). She claims she enjoys sex, and I know she love me but to be honest when we have sex she doesnt seem like she has her head in the game. She will always talk about thing that has nothing to do with whats going on, and I blame her because I feel that she doesnt orgasm because she doesnt concentrate on trying to have one.
