I am a 16year old boy and want to be a flight attendant for Qantas when im older. At the moment i am 176cm tall and the height restrictions for qantas are 163-183cm. I desperately need to slow my growth or i will not qualify for becoming a flight attendant. Maybe i dont have much growing left, but if i do i definitely need to slow it down.
[Please can i have no non-serious or joke answers]

I have a physically noticeable disability, which I've had since birth. Although it is noticeable, if I wear sunglasses I can easily cover it up. My left eye is completely blind, shut at all times and my eyebrows are a bit raised. To those with no prior knowledge, it could seem as if I'd been in a fight or a mild car accident. Nothing else on my body is affected.

I now find myself an expecting father and I am concerned about passing this disability on. Where can I find a source which deals with physical, as in affecting one's structural appearance, disabilities/defects. Most sites that I have found deal with hereditary issues such as diseases.

Since I was a very small child I noticed when the TV came on I would hear a high pitch ringing in my ears. I could be in another room and hear when the TV was turned on and turned back off again and sometimes I would hear it from outside the house if I were close enough. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this or am I just weird?

I know that they usually give you a valium and you are awake during the surgery. And i know they put numbing drops in your eyes, but can you see during the surgery? Can you move your eyes? Do they put things on your eyes to keep them open like in clockwork orange? Is there anyway to make yourself blind during the surgery, like by blinking or flinching on accident? Sorry, I'm just really paranoid about my eyes and it really grosses me out. One more question, is it true that the surgery hurts more for people who've worn contacts? If so, should i stop wearing my contacts for a period before the surgery? Thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. The first year was just plain perfect and happy. About 8 months ago, he began using Crystal Meth. From the beginning he hid it from me. I'm not stupid, I knew. I didn't say anything because I thought he was just trying. It was random at first, but after 3 months, it became every day for a week, stop for a week. I always thought that if he could stop, he wasn't addicted. I started every other weekend with him and also thought it would help him be more open with me. Now he does every day, and a few days without. The last few months, he is always angry at me for the stupidest, small things. He claims that even if they are small, they're significant. I tell him that he's not the same person anymore, and I think the meth is the problem. He instantly outrages saying, "You have a problem too!" He's even kicked me out a few times so we don't have to talk about it. How can I help him before he hits bottom and without getting kicked out?

I have heard a lot about an "autism epidemic" lately; also heard it is nothing but a myth or change in diagnostic trends. I tend to think of autism as a normal variant in the way people are wired, whereas the idea of an "epidemic" would seem to suggest that it is a disease, caused by mass exposure of our population to toxins or something. So, does anyone have an opinion on whether or not there is really an "autism epidemic", as well as some facts to back up your opinion?

I had a bad cut recently that now has a scab. The doctor said no matter what, absolutely DO NOT TOUCH or pick the scab, even if it's dangling or hanging by a thread. (Gross, I know.) So what would you recommmend to put or rub on it? I hear moisturizer works good to dry it out and make it fall off. Any ideas?

I worked many hours and very hard at my last job, who ended up not appreciating anything I've done and let me (laid off) go a few weeks ago.

I've been on a hectic pace ever since going on some interviews & running other errands. I don't have a car and have to commute everywhere by public transportation and cabs.

I landed a job that's far from where I live, but that's the issue for most places that I do apply to. I'm exhausted, mentally & physically, and feel "shell-shocked" and on the brink of a meltdown thinking of starting up a heinous commute again.

I'm irritable, get poor sleep, etc. I need the job for obvious reasons ($ and health insurance, especially) and right now, moving is not an option.

I just don't want to crack, but feel that any commute is just too much. I feel like I have so much pressure to fulfill duties that I should do while I'm unemployed, but I'm wiped out.

I just don't know if I'm up to this again. Any suggestions? Any ways for me to get motivated?
