Your sense of smell is your most primative sense. It is directly tied to your lymbic system in your brain and the response to pleasant or unpleasent smells is not "filtered" through other thoughts, or associations. So, it is very reasonable that aromas would have a very real effect on you emotionally. (the lymbic system is largely responsible for you emotions)

to relax i use lavendar bath products then lavendar pillow spray.it makes me feel really calm.
