I live with my parents. Who I hate. I can't afford to move out right now because I don't make enough money in my crappy department store job. I was getting happy and looking forward to moving into an apartment this fall, but then my mom said I can just drive to the college I'm going to during the fall semester. So then that sucked but I thought to myself "oh well, at least I'll be out by winter and in my own apartment". Now my mom plans on forcing me to move in with my sister's best friend who has a 3 year old. Not only do I not like kids, but how am I going to get any of my school work done with a 3 year old in my apartment? The reason I was responsible and didn't have any accidental children is so I wouldn't be in a situation like that. And according to the federal government, my parents make too much money for me to be eligible for enough loan money to pay for the apartment on my own.The program I'm in school for is a hard one that only 16 people get into.

Here lately I have had several posts about my Lab puppy. He has been sick off and on for about 3 weeks. The first incident he was very lethargic we took to the vet and they ran tests on him. Everything was negative. He is up to date on his shots but since he has only had one set I was told parvo is still a possibility. The next day he was fine. Then about a week later he had diarrhea again......I had remembered the night before I gave him some milk bone treats with real bone marrow in the center. He was back to normal. Then last night I put him in his crate and gave him a regular milk bone treat. This morning he didn't eat very much food and this afternoon he has the wet face like he did when he was very lethargic and his appetite is down a littlle bit still but he did eat and he is drinking well. He is a healthy dog that is gaining weight rapidly. He is very playful and seems to only have problems the next day after he eats a treat.

... 4 dollar prescription plan, they would switch me from 10 to 20 mg without me having to wait another 4 weeks to see if the 10 mg is effective for my anxiety?
Because I've been taking 10 mg of citalopram for 2 weeks now and have seen no improvement and it costs me 50 dollars a month to take it, so I think it would be easier on my anxiety and my wallet if I went ahead and switched to the 20 mg right now... do you think my doctor would switch me if I made an appointment right now, or would he want me to wait another 4 weeks to see if the 10 mg of citalopram does anything?

P.S. because the longer I have to wait, thats the longer I have to suffer with anxiety... I can barely make it to work everyday... and I can barely do my college work... my nerves are killing me. I was on 10 mg of lexapro before, which is basically a stronger version of citalopram, and it only mildly helped with anxiety.

I mean in the interests of the persons dignity.... today i watched such a person attempt to retrieve a letter from the floor... grasping at it but not being able to lift an edge in order to pick it up. I had to help, and didnt want to watch any longer.... but then I thought should I have waited ... had I in some way insulted that person by helping? I feel awkward and don't know how much I should allow them to achieve something ...have you any thoughts on similar incidents?

I read somewhere it's as hard to define MS as it is to find a cure, in that a list of possible diagnosis are checked before actually arriving at MS. I have also heard claims that symptoms can be reversed. Can the immune system be boosted somehow to keep a sufferer more comfortable? There's so much I want to ask. I have recently come to know a sufferer who is wheelchair bound but so positive that it makes me feel really humble and selfish. I can research yeh, but does anyone have first hand experience with a friend or relative suffering from MS that can tell me something the text books cant?

I was at horse camp today and yesterday. One girl there went home sick yesterday and was back today. Today we played a relay where you put a wet sponge on your head and run through poles and jumps. The sick girl was in my group of like 10-15 pple. I went before her and then we played again, so she had already touched the sponge. The sponge goes back into the bucket of water before placed on the next person's head. After several pple went after the sick girl it was my turn again when i put it on my head (after it was in the bucket) some water ran down my face into my mouth, but it was only a drop. Do you think i will catch the stomach virus that she had the day/night before?

She hadn't been sick since midnight but she was probably still contagious at 1:30 p.m. right?

I have hypothyroidism, but my levels are good with the medicine. I just feel so exhausted day after day, and nothing seems to help. Caffeine just makes me jittery. I take B12 and a multivitamin and it does nothing. I just want to have energy to do the basic everyday things. It's getting so depressing!

If Alcohol lowers testosterone, why are some people MORE aggressive when drinking? Quoted from an MSN men's health & fitness article I was reading: ("Alcohol consumption decreases testosterone," says Glenn Cunningham, M.D., a professor of medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Over time, decreased testosterone levels lead to an increase in obesity and fat tissue, and a decrease in muscle mass, libido and erectile function.) Somewhat conflicting from what I've seen with aggressive drinkers...
