Wrist breaks are usually due to a forward fall, in which the person holds out his hands to break the fall. Typical wintertime "slip on the ice" accident.

seems such as you quite actually did a great job breaking that wrist LOL no heavily i'm hoping that one and all is going properly. I broke my wrist while i grew to become into in my 20s and it nonetheless hurts now in specific weathers. i think of that considering which you're having a op they'll would desire to maintain a watch on the wrist and section so a forged wont be placed on at as quickly as. yet could be incorrect. with a bit of luck forged would be of after 6 weeks ish and which you will make an entire restoration. good success

Well, I broke mine trying to save my fall. I was riding my bike when i hit a pothole and my bike flipped forward and I fell to the side. I stuck my arm out trying to stop my fall and the next thing I knew my wrist twisted and I heard a crack. It took 8 weeks to heal. But I agree, bones are pretty sturdy.....how do they break so easily?

I am on my sisters name -- I am a doctor.
Most people break it by falling -- with there hand in a fist and landing on it by the bottom part of the finger and then there is too much pressure and so it falls forward and cracks.

If your hand gets twisted sharply enough and and to quickly for you to adjust it will break.
