I was at horse camp today and yesterday. One girl there went home sick yesterday and was back today. Today we played a relay where you put a wet sponge on your head and run through poles and jumps. The sick girl was in my group of like 10-15 pple. I went before her and then we played again, so she had already touched the sponge. The sponge goes back into the bucket of water before placed on the next person's head. After several pple went after the sick girl it was my turn again when i put it on my head (after it was in the bucket) some water ran down my face into my mouth, but it was only a drop. Do you think i will catch the stomach virus that she had the day/night before?

She hadn't been sick since midnight but she was probably still contagious at 1:30 p.m. right?

One drop of water will most likely not do anything.
Don't worry about it :)
The chances of you getting sick are probably 1/100

Probably not. Anyway, you're body may be able to beat the virus even if you did catch it! Worrying about something so small as this is more worrying than any stomach virus!

take vitamin C, drink orange juice
they will at least help stave off an infection if you were around it (which it sounds like you were)
Next time, tell them to NOT use a wet towel, and request new paper towels or something else in it's place.
it's worth a try, at least.

i think you'll be fine. maybe it wasn't a virus she had. perhaps it was something she ate or over exposure to the heat. that would explain her getting over it so quickly.
