my best advise is to take ur grandfather to the doctor. it may be a side effect to the meds. reading all the possile side effects to every med he takes may give u a better answer to what is going on u can get the information from webmd or contact the pharmacy that he gets his meds from will have all that info.
as far as blood in his urine he may have a kidney infection or it can be something more serious

probably the meds. The sad thing about it is that drs use the elderly and the very young and the mentally challenged as guinea pigs and could care less about them. I don't know how old he is, he probably needs to go to the dr to check ( i know, how ironic) but i would say it is the meds. good luck!

Sounds like body fat. His med might be taking the fat and other carbs directly through his kidneys without breaking them down.

He has urine in his blood? Yeah, right. And what the heck are you doing looking at gramp's urine anyway? Are you some kind of pervert?

For grampa's sake I hope you are some novice med student. Have a real dr. check and diagnosis him.
