I am a 32 year old female I have been suffering from extreme fatigue, neck pain, hand joint pain, and general back pain. My first ANA test came out posite 80% speckled after seen various docs and 2 rheumatologist they redid them and the ANA came out positive agan and also the HBla27 I think marker gene for AS. So after discarding Lupus my rheumatologist diagnosed me with AS and Fibromialgia. He gave me muscle relaxants to take at nigh and antiinflammatories to take when I felt to much pain. I started to feel better but after a couple of weeks with extre stress and lack of sleep it seems I am taking the anti infl. every night and I feel like I am getting a flare up. Does anybody have an idea of what exactly should a person need to know to cope with this disease, like an organization or something? Like what shoul I eat or not eat, the hours of sleep the excercise...is stress a big factor for it? I would really appreciate the help and info anyone could give me.

THANKS!

Are people in your area experiencing unshakable cold and flu symptoms? Here in Virginia, my wife and I have this cough that neither of us can shake and I heard on the radio last night that a guy who travels alot has noticed that everywhere he goes more people are coughing these days. What's going on?

My ears have been ringing for at least the past six hours. It's not the TV; they began to ring when I woke up this morning (before I turned the TV on) and remain long after I turn the TV off. Could this be an ear infection? My ears don't hurt..

Thanks in advance for your answers!

My husband bought a drain cleaner called Liquid Fire that is a concentrated form of sulfuric acid. He said we would probably have to wait until the kids were out of the house. I asked him if it was because it smelled bad, and he said "Yeah.". I told him we should at least wait until the kids went to bed. So the kids are in bed, and he used it. The whole front prtion of our house smells like this stuff. This was an hour ago. At the moment I am dizzy from breathing it and feel like I am going to vomit. I read the label and it says nothing about any harmful effects of breathing the fumes, only skin contact and eye contact, and swallowing. So what's going on? Is it really safe to be breathing this? Anyone know anything about sulfuric acid?

I have Night and Day "up to 30 nights continuous wear" disposable soft contact lenses ..... I kind of lost track of how long I'd been wearing them ... I left them in for more than a month like it says. I certainly don't plan on intentionally doing that again. The only thing that happened was they got dry and uncomfortable... I'm wondering how badly I can damage my eyes if I keep that up. I'm trying to be more organized and writing down when I put each pair in and stuff .... How bad can that be, though?

I'm making a list of every health problem I've had that I can remember. I want to look at all my medical records to see if there's anything I've forgotten. I'm 19. Currently I've been diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome and migraines. I'm afraid many of the problems I've thought I've had were just imagined. I think I'm a hypochondriac and I want to know how many health problems does the average person deal with in their lifetime? If I have a lot more problems on my list than what most people go through, is it possible I exaggerate my symptoms, or imagine them?

for marching band, we have to stand still in a block for 2-3 hours straight in the hot sun before the annual memorial day parade in our town. I fainted last year, and I tend to faint in situations like that. What precautions can I take to prevent myself from fainting this year? (Don't say drink water, because I won't have an available bathroom and I constantly have to go, and don't say "sit down" because if I do my band teacher won't let me do it next year)
