I normally get this after a hefty boozing session at weekends, so i drink loads of water and clean myself out ready for next party. I no its wrong but i love partying.

If you are only having it in the morning, Im going to have to say its a muscle, possibly casued by a sublexation (out of placement) of the vertabre, one of the parts of your spine.
The spine is the highway for all the nerves in your body branching out throughout your entire body. It could be very well that one of your nerves connecting to that muscle region of the body where you are experiencing pain is being piched by this sublexation.
I recommend going to a chiropractor, or doing back stretches in the morning. Goodluck

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

That can be from so much, everything from sleep apena to kidney or gall stones, to urinary infection to well, it goes on and on. Go see a doctor.

I could think of so many things that could be, and you know what youd still need to see a doctor to get a difinitive diagnosis!!

that could be a kindey stone,Kidne infection It could be a number of thing you need to see a doctor very SOON before it gets too bad that you will have to be hospitalized.
