BE CAREFUL! Fiber bulks your movement up, this allows your system to PUSH the waste through your intestine, when waste is forced through the system it can actually poke small holes in the intestine causing Leaky Gut Syndrome. A more effective way to cleanse is with an oxygen colon cleanser, check out this site, it should help you:

Take care and good luck to you!

You need what they call a "fiber laxative", but don't worry, it's the same thing as a soluble fiber supplement. Go to the laxative section of your local pharmacy or Wal-mart and look for Citrucel. It is an orange flavor drink mix. You just mix a scoop full in cold water and drink it down. It tastes good (like Tang), but it doesn't totally dissolve so you might want to drink it fast. Then follow up with an additional glass of water. Follow the directions on the package - - - I think you probably need to drink it twice a day for like a week and then go to once a day if you are okay with the results. This should fix you right up.

P.S. The fiber tablets just don't work as well as the actual powder form that you mix with water. At least it didn't work for me.

I would actually suggest more whole grains in your diet as well as fruits and veggies. This will increase your fiber intake. It also doesn't require a huge change, just change pasta for whole wheat pasta, and same for bread.

Also, if you're eating cereal when you first get up and then get diarrhea, as well as after dinner, you may have lactose intolerance. Especially if you use precooked foods or packaged foods, as they can contain milk without knowing it. Just an idea.

Yogurt definetly helps with the diahrea. Eat some yogurt for breakfast and take a fiber supplement at night.

In the Philippines, we have this belief that the banana can deal with both these problems. I'm not a doctor, and what I've just mentioned is actually local saying. You could give it a try. I'm sure it won't hurt.

I heard metamusil caplets are really good because they're in a natural form. Try that.
