Who wants to relive stress? I have enough without having to do the same stress all over again. To relieve stress, well, that's a horse of another color. I draw blanks.

When I get really stressed/angry/upset I tend to draw. Not really think about what I'm drawing just pick up a pencil and draw. I also write poetry, make a video with a song that best describes how I feel or just listening to the song a few times occasionally singing along to it.

Hi,
I just wanted to say that I read your profile and saw the other questions you had asked and the fact that you want your dad to get you a dog tells me that you are too young to be feeling this stressed and depressed. I have gone through depression but I was 25 and you are still young enough to be living at home so you really need to reevaluate your schedule and take a few things out of it and make time to take care of yourself. Sort out your priorities and eliminate things that are unnecessary. Also, you might want to talk to a school counselor.

My second favorite way to relieve stress is to take my gun to the range and shoot off a hundred rounds or so. Extra fun if you can shoot bottles, cans, rocks and other things that kind of explode.

Exercise daily
Deep breathing exercises
Eating healthily
Try to get enough sleep, and when you're going to bed try not to listen to music or watch TV - just read a book or the paper, something quiet to wind down.

I find listening to music that you like, going for a walk, watching a good movie that is full of comedy that will make you laugh. Laughter is a good medicine for stress.

Find a hobby that fits your style.

Personally, I love shooting (targets....not a hunter type). But it is trial and error. Look around for clubs and attend a meeting or to see what interests you. If you don't have a lot of time, try looking online.

Stress balls don't work...and cause weird pains in your hands so don't use those.

Um a shower or any type of bath, and put on nice calming music.

Why would you want to relive it, isn't going through it once enough for you?
