the same length from toe to heel as the space on your arm from your inner elbow to your wrist. I have only met one person who this does not apply to.

Please remember to take off your shoes before trying it or you will not get an accurate answer!

I used to be able to swallow pills, but I almost choked on one about a year ago, and since then, I haven't been able to swallow pills - so obviously it's purely psychological, but I still can't swallow them, even though I've recognized this fact and have tried to get over it. I used to take multivitamins, and I would like to start back with taking them. The only way I can do it is if I cut the vitamin up into 8 pieces or more, so that they will dissolve when I swallow them with water. Unfortunately, not all pills can be taken this way, and I would really like to know a better way to take them.

I had a spot of pain in my chest two days ago that I thought might be heart burn. Now the pain has moved to my back, exactly behind the spot of pain in my chest (like a bullet went through the front and out the back) and it hurts worse when I cough. Could it be serious?

Hi I have a friend who is now unfortunately needing to drink 4 cans of high strength larger in the morning just to stop the shakes enough to go to work. His girlfriend has had to chuck him out, as has his mother - he is now spending the week with some other friends of ours while he looks for a flat. He has tried the 'pills'. Obviously he is at the point where he needs medical help (if he just stopped drinking it would kill him) How can I go about finding a residential programme in West Yorkshire (preferably Leeds), he has a little money but free would be more realistic? I realise he will need to want to do this himself, but I want to have the details ready for him the moment he feels ready....

I have given up smoking 2 weeks ago after 23 years smoking, is there any ex smokers on here who can give me any tips/advice on
how to stay a non smoker, how long it took you to "GET OVER IT" and stop the craving and what did you do to take your mind off smoking when you really wanted one??

Oh and forgot to ask how long was it before you could have a drink of alcohol without wanting to smoke 20 cigarettes with it!!!

Thanks

I'm just trying to get a normal checkup. If there is nothing wrong with me I would rather not let them know and get all worried. I know there will probably be a co-pay, but I can take care of that. I'm just wondering if they get a bill later or anything. I don't know how insurance works at all. Also, if they would be able to find out, is it possible for me to just get the checkup without their insurance?
