I have had the flu for about 4 days now with a very bad earache. My ear now feels blocked. I can hear from it but not as much as the other ear. I know this is normal but are there any other ways in opening it so I can feel the relief!!

I'm a 19-year-old male. I'm wondering what kinds of natural food can provide good testosterone to males or encourage testosterone production in the body? What should be taken to improve my body's testosterone production? What are the things to note when eating such food?

Also, I know that bean products like "tofu" and soya milk are great sources of protein. But the drawback is that they contain certain levels of female hormones. I am a bit worried that I would be affected because I like eating those food (frequently!) to get protein. What should I do? Will it increase my body's female hormones?

I am prone to getting a sinus infection at least four times a year, and I am tired of having to go spend money on a doctor and a prescription when I know what is wrong with me. I would love to know something I could do to avoid these quarterly visists and maybe even avoid the infections altogether.

I have these sharp pains in my lower stomach/back area and I'm not sure what they are or how to make them go away ... I had an upper gi earlier this week, with anesthesia, which I suspect may be a culprit ...

I've tried taking pepto and it's not doing much. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Yesterday, when I was getting perscriptions for broncitis filled, I was sitting and could see the pharmasist as he checked (I assume) my perscriptions. The tech put the bottles down and he opened the bottles of pills and poured a few on his hands, looked at them then wrote something down. Then he took the cough syrup (Hydromet) opened the bottle, held it up, and waved his hand over it towards his nose like he was smelling it. Do they teach pharmasists what medicines smell like at school, and could he really tell the diffrence if it was the wrong one?

I though this was pretty strange as I had seem the same pharmisist put the cough syrup in the bottle himself only a couple minutes before, sohe knew it was right...

I stopped smoking over 2 years ago now, and can honestly say it was much, much easier than I ever thought it would be. First of all, I read a book by Allan Carrs called " the easy way for women to stop smoking". I got about half way through and suddenly it hit me, everything he said actually was true and made complete sense. I carried on reading til I finished the book, all the while thinking - "blimey, ieverything he says is true! I can do this" and when I finished that was it - I quit. And believe me when I say, you don't really need willpower, or nicotine substitutes, as he makes you see smoking for what it really is. It's not a stress reliver, or a crutch of somekind. If you want to give up, give the book a try, please!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I woke up the day after Christmas with a swollen lymph node in my groin area. I have no "partner" so did not catch anything that way. After a few days the node didn't hurt anymore, but now it is very firm and is slightly larger. What causes nodes in this area to swell besides STD's?

My feet ache and hurt to stand on when I get up in the morning. They seem to get better as the day goes on though. I have a desk job and don't do an excess of walking. I've already tried wearing different shoes and looking on NHS Direct. Anyone have any other ideas to try before I head to the Doctors?
