In a sense, Yes.
If we eat a diet well balanced with fruits, vegetables & proteins, we will have a more balanced body.
If we eat a diet full of cheese and bread, skipping the fruits, vegis & proteins...our bodies will let us know by the disproportion of fat over muscle.
Interestingly enough, caucasian babies who eat an abundance of carrots will even take on an orange skin-tone until they widen their diet.
Hydrogenated oils lare a great example of 'you are what you eat' These oils, once consumed, never leave the body.

yes of course, you can see people who just like eating fast food look pretty unhealthy in comparison to a person who eats more balance food.

Yes if you eat an onion, wait a while then rub the top of your hand and smell ... the onion has absorbed through your glands and it coming out....
