From my doctor: knowing the problem is the key, your diaphram is out of sync which causes hiccups. Breathe ALL the air out of your lungs and hold your breath for 10 seconds. SLOWLY start breathing again. This resets the diaphram to a normal pattern of breathing.

here's what i do i swear it works!! take a drink of water (nice size gulp) and before you swallow it, bend over as far as you can then swallow the water, they will go away right away i promise!
