Mmk, i felt it coming on yesterday, and took some medicine, tons of vitamins, rested, drank orange juice, did as much as i could to prevent it from coming full blown. It didnt do diddly squat, because i wake up this morning with my head feeling as if it was made of lead, blocked up nasal passages, watery eyes --- basically a head cold. Christmas is in a few days, i am getting the wii.. and i want to play, but with my head feeling like this, i can barely move it let alone wild out with a wiimote. Plus, i dont want to feel sucky that day.. its CHRISTMAS for crying out loud. Is there any way i could nick this cold now and try to prevent it from lasting a long time?

Every so often, I feel like I have something stuck inside my mouth on my throat. I open wide in the mirror and notice that there are a few white spots there. My throat does not hurt at all and it isn't red. Sorry this may sound gross, but here goes: Sometimes when I cough or sneeze, the white spot comes out and it looks like a small little ball of cottage cheese and it really stinks. What are these, What causes these, and how can I avoid it from happening again? Thanks.

Someone posted a question as to whether women were mostly in favor of circumcision of infants. This was a valid question! There were a variety of answers, and yes, the word "penis" was used! EGAD! Could this be why it was taken away? I just don't get it. People here ask all kinds of medical advice, some of it pretty graphic...so why delete THAT?

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I've been sick with a sinus problem for a while. It's not an infection because mucus is clear. I have swollen glands behind my ears. All I do is sleep. A few days ago I had a red spotty rash on my arms and legs only, under the skin, and it did not itch. It cleared up and now I have swollen, stiff, achy fingers and wrists and my neck is incredibly stiff. I have a dr.'s appointment tomorrow. I am very concerned. I had hepatitis c that my liver spontaneously healed. I have no energy and I am a smoker and have not wanted a cigarette. I can go 24 hours and not have a craving, sometimes longer. I plan on having my liver viral lode checked even though my infectious disease dr. told me the hep c will not come back. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

hi, i got contact lenses yesterday, n today i was trying to insert them in again, i go to specsavers in the uk. so i got this solution as well, so when i took it out of the bottle(which is filled with solution to disinfect), i added a little more solution and rinsed it on my hand and then tried to put it in, it took me half an hour to get them in and when i put it in and blinked, my eyes stung a bit and went red and started watering for a bit, but in a minute or 2 it was ok again, should i worry? or is it normal on the first time? and then on the left one, i think i wore it upside down, i couldn't tell the difference, so now I can feel it a bit when i blink. but the right one is ok. is this normal, will my eye be in real danger if it's upside down? what happens if u get an infection, can it be cured? or do u go blind permanently? please tell me, i don't want anything happening to my eyes, please tell me what to do, i will go to my opticians tomorrow to get my glasses, please guide.bye
