I just gave a 1/2 tube of Lax'aire to my cat (which is beef flavored petroleum jelly) upon recommendation from the vet and it took him about 24 hours but he did it. Best of luck to you.

Vaseline?? No it doesnt work. Yes it is bad! Have a look on the 'net to see what vaseline is made of! You wanna stick that in your body?
Go and see your doctor if it's that bad, you may have a bowel obstruction. A simple xray can show up impacted fecal matter.
Else go to a pharmacy or health food shop and get some normal laxatives. But don't take too many to make it work faster! It doesnt work that way.... That could have the complete opposite effect!

NO and I would not suggest it. The chemicals in Vaseline are not digestible. Try a stool softener or a laxative. Eating certain foods can get you going like high fiber foods.

Considering that it is made of petroleum, I would most certainly advise against it (it's kinda like drinking motor oil).
Please either see a doctor, or use an over-the-counter constipation medication.

Not a good idea. Get some ( about half a teaspon ) of Magnesium Oxide ,nothing works quite like this stuff

It is said that the inventor of vaseline had a spoon of the stuff every morning of his life. It is only a variation of petroleum jelly and cannot do you any harm.............
