My girlfriend has comdition where she often passes out. Her doctor's working on her case, but in the mean time I want to know what to do if she passes out. Like how do I get her to come-to faster? And how should I comfort her when she does come-to? (She often wakes up very dizzy, and more tired then before) Any suggestions would help me! Thanks!

I went to a lab yesterday where I had blood drawn for a blood test. The nurse took a needle from the drawer, uncapped it then attached it to a vacutainer and drew my blood. Then she recapped the needle, and threw it in the disposer.

My question is, does it happen that sometimes the nurse may forget and by mistake recap the needle and put it in the drawer with the new needles and then reuse it again by mistake? Or will it show that the needle has been used before when she attempts to use it again (due to blood stains and other things)?

I am worried since none of the needles in the drawer were wrapped so how to know that they were new..

Yep, that is basically my questions. I mean the only cons that i can figure are that it is smoking, and will hurt my lungs. But I will smoke through a bong, or hookah, or just any plain waterpipe. So what are some other downsides? I cannot find any.

at the hospital reported him to the state for at least three conditions he did not have (including seigure disorder.) The doctor did this without telling my dad he was doing it AND Before any tests had confirmed what actually was wrong with him..The doctor reported to the state that my dad had dementia, psychiatric disorders, and seizure disorders..None of which was true...Tests revealed he has sleep apenia...It cost him four months without a driver's license, money for second opinions from other doctors, and a lot of time and effort having wrong information removed from his driver's license record.

Does he have a malpractice case, should he report this to the licensing board for the Doctor and/or the hospital.

Does anyone know if he has a legal case for damages..

None of my friends have this problem that I know of but I don't want to go to the doctor for nothing. I get the pains probably 9 or 10 times a month, but unfornutately I haven't really been keeping count. Most of the time, I get these pains that make my stomach feel like it's just burning (I was told this isn't indigestion...but I'm not so sure?) when I eat pizza after 5 pm or so, or after I eat anything spicy. Also, sometimes the pain comes when I eat something sweet and I haven't eaten any "real" food for a while. Or sometimes it comes after eating just a regular meal. The burning is pretty bad. I just stop what I'm doing and go and lie down, although that doesn't help, it just makes it feel a tad bit better. And a lot of times, drinking milk helps the pain go away but still, this can't be normal, can it? Do you know what it could be and what might be done to treat it? Thanks for your answer.

I took Tylenol, and that normally helps but my head hurts soo bad. The pain is basically on basically my entire head, not just one or two places like usual. I really don't want to lay down or go to sleep yet so do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

I've struggled with pretty much constant self harm for the past couple of years and I'm trying to recover now. I've been doing not TOO badly but any time I go out with friends or drink alcohol I have a huge urge to self harm.

I know what everyone's going to say - that alcohol is a depressant and it makes me feel down leading to the urge to self harm, but it's not always like that.

Some nights I can go out, have a few drinks and have a really good night, enjoy myself with my friends. But as soon as I come home I really want to cut. Even if I DON'T drink, I still want to self harm. Sometimes it makes sense, like if I haven't had a good night and feel a bit down, but other times I can have had a good night but still really want to self harm when I get home.

It's not even so much when I get home, I can be half way through the night and the urge just hits me out of nowhere, but I've stopped carrying blades around with me (I used to).

What's it all about??!!!
