I'm sure that there have been some instances of spontaneous defecation before death, but I believe that most examples come shortly after death when the muscles go limp and expand. I have also heard of men experiencing orgasms before death, which is why some people are into auto-asphyxiation. It's what killed the lead singer from INXS several years ago.

I used to work in a nursing home and I think it is a grose question but -you asked for it.
I know when they die if there is any **** in there it will come out when you are rolling them around cleaning them up. I don't know if they do it before sometimes or not.

Well not before they die, but right afterward. The muscles holding in the poop relax after death and everything comes flowing out. Same thing with their piss.

i would say yes because when my cat died and after she died she pissed all over me because when you die all of your musles go and theres nothing there to hold it in
