guys that have the veins that run from their fingers to their elbos make me hot. see them pop when they work or are doing nothing makes me hot. why is this??????????

Sometime late in February, Medicare passed no more gastric bypass surgery would be allowed. However, they would approve, I believe, if the hospital and or surgeon was somehow aproved by them. They had to have some type of acreditation (if there is such a word) before they would approve the surgery. Also I think a high percentage of their surgeries had to be the different forms of gastric bypass surgery. Has anyone heard the latest on this?

A friend told me their is a place that does not only the surgery but does some liposuction at the time of surgery. Don't know if this is true. But they have not been approved by Medicare either.

Whatever help anyone can give would be appreciated.

What if usually you only leave scratches all over your arm? I use my fingernails and i claw all the way up both my arms..is that still considered cutting?

Catch 22 - I have panic disorder to the point of not being able to go a mile from the house. I've grown a resistance to my meds and they do not sedate me. I have an appointment this wednesday to have a new med program prescibed, but I can't make it to the doctor to get it. What do I do? Getting there will just have me be seen, but there is nothing that can take care of immediate attacks that occur en route or at the doctor. Just a slip of paper, "try this" and good luck making it back home, freak. My anxiety is high, my temper is bad and I'd almost prefer being shot than making this appointment.

I do prefer answers from people that understand or have experienced panic disorder as most that have no idea just say "be a man and take it." Not helpful in this situation.

I think that avoiding communicating with a child about their health problems, whatever those may be, isn't fair to the child. Children have the right to full medical disclosure! Keeping the facts from kids, in an attempt to not bring up 'anger,' only disempowers them from taking charge of their health....Now in childhood instead of later when it may be too late!

Any thoughts?

Someone I know is always making these gulping noises in their throat. They only started this a while back but now do it all the time- about every 3 seconds while eating. It's getting to be really annoying, but they can't seem to help it. I don't want to be mean but it realllllly gets on my nerves as I am always conscious of the sound when we are talking or eating together. I don't know why they do this or how to get them to stop! Please give me some advice...

i work graveyard... from 9pm to 730am and i was wondering how bad it is to my health to sleep in the day during the week days and then on the week ends sleep at night...i cant really sleep on the weekends anymore cause im used to sleepin in the day....and i wake up like a zombie....
