Has anyone ever used accutane? I'm just curious because I want to take it but my mom said theres too many serious side effects? If you've taken it, did u have serious side effects? DId it clear up your skin?

I had bad acne when I was a teenage. I took accutane for about 8 months. If your prone to depression you will be more depressed then you have ever been in your life. Your skin will dryout and you will not be able to stop your lips from bleeding. The upside is that your acne will go away and fairly quickly.

When I was in high school, my best friend was taking accutane. The only thing I remember was that it made her skin peel a lot because it dried up all the oils in her face. I think it cleared her skin up but she was left with a lot of acne scars.

I have a friend that takes it every now and then. It clears her skin up beautifully. But it makes her a raging biitch. I HATE her when she's taking it.

I few years ago, my fiance did... Her back hurt so bad she could not stand for hours(and did for months even after finished) her hair fell out and so on and so forth!
However, here cousin took it about 1 year ago and he is not having any issues at all
