I have had trichotillomania since I was 8 and I was wondering if anyone had it so I could have some friends to talk to about what I'm going through.
If so email me! Thanks a lot.

This has happened to me several times. and I was always curious if this has a scientific expalantion.
It's like having a paralizing "dream" but I'm awake. I can hear, feel and hear evrything around me, but I can't move or speak. I feel as if a part of me is leaving my body, an intense energy that sometimes can cause certain pain.
Can somebody explain this to me?

What is the craziest resolution out there and how long have you stuck to it. Enlighten me, not looking for the typical ones, like quite smoking, dieting...i want to hear interesting ones.

Every single Friday afternoon, I start getting very anxious, because I know I am just going to go home and lay on the couch for the whole weekend. That is all I feel like doing. Do not see my friends, only go to the store, and I'll sleep all day and night. This has been going on for years.

I can't care about people except for myself. I try. I am used to being on my own and it's very hard for me to stand any other company apart from a man. I have a boyfriend and I see no one but him and it's my choice. I know I have a problem but I CAN'T open to anyone, if I do I can't do for more than 5 mins and then I start thinking about something else to do (on my own). Made a New Year's resolution to make friends and be a good friend, so I posted something looking for friends. Got a lot of answers but I don't want to do it anymore. I am bitter and I know I only care about myself. I know I am selfish too.I am bored with everyone except man or if I flirt (which I usually dont do when in relationship) with men. I know I am a b itch but I JUST CANT CHANGE IT.
I used to be a nice girl. That was long time ago. I CAN'T care for anybody else, I CANT go out. I dont even go ou at weekends, I dont want. I am 27 and been like that since, aprox, 22 yr old.

I have a male friend who lies aaaaaaalllll the time, about the dumbest things. Why would someone feel the need to lie all the time? Heres some examples of the lies he's told:

He said he has 100,000 in the bank, even though he's living in a hotel room right now.. (he says he's saving that money for his pro wrestling career)
He said he spent 70,000 dollars on a custom chain with a Jesus pendant, made of all jewels.
He said he had dinner in the white house, with president Bush.
He said his sister is dating the lead singer of my chemical romance.
He told me once he had 2 kids..then his (now ex) girlfriend got pregnant and had a baby(this part is true). Suddenly he forgot that he said he had 2 other kids and keeps talking about how weird it is to be a parent.
Once the number of people he slept with was 26, then it was 5, then it changed again..
the list goes on, and on, and on...

What could be the symptoms for PTSD for someone that was beaten up by her partner/husband? He did it twice. The first time he asked for forgivness, they went back together...but 3 months later he did it again, and this time he kicked her with the baby on her arms.

...and could not stand being lazy; doing nothing after I get up. Has this happened to anyone of you who has retired?

This man is a friend, not a romantic interest. He lies about so much, it is hard to tell when he is telling the truth. (His stories are always conflicting).

He also tries to point out mistakes that others make so his work looks better (though there really is no difference).

His stories and BS are annoying and tiresome. He has a good heart, and I don't want to abandon his friendship. How do you deal with someone with such a low self esteem that they have to make up stories to try and impress? So you confront them? Do you try to complement them more (tried this, just seems to increase the BS)? Do you just let it go? Help! This situation is driving me nuts!

Hi there,

If an adolescent has Bipolar Disorder, how can you distinguish just another "teenager mood swing" to a state of mania? What signs should I look for?

Thank you very much for any help! Bye x

Is anyone familiar with taking a EEG Spectrum test for ADHD?

I was told by a psychologist this test is a series of computer test that test your skills in certain areas to find weak & strong points of the way your brain solves problems and cures ADHD.
