hehehehe that cheered me up! Try a bit of reverse psychology and be 'ever so polite'. He won't know how to take you and will stear clear of you just in case he embarrasses himself.

Oh I'm in a vengeful mood....

Xerox the part of your body you mentioned.... enlarge it on the copier....get a photo of your boss.....cut out all the space around his/her face..... put the boss's face on top of your enlarged testicle image...and copy again.... Now the boss is in his/her rightful environment.... LOLOL

Find cheap mugs or drinking glasses (even plastic ones). Glue the boss's new "image" to every glass. Leave one on each desk or employee area.

Find a ladder or tall chair. Tape one on the ceiling, where the boss won't notice. Ask employees to guess the time of day the boss will stand right under his photo. The employee that wins gets a special donut.

Everytime your boss comes to speak to you, focus your eyes anywhere except looking at him. Or--- make your eyes cross and uncross. If boss asks why you do that, tell him your contacts are bothering you.

Have one employee bake a cake. Use more salt than sugar. Have a different employee give it to the boss. Pretend you bought the cake at a bakery. Deny you know anything about the salt.

Start softly singing nursery rhymes throughout the day, preferably when the boss is near. If asked, apologize...tell him you babysat your young relatives all weekend.

I could think of more....but you can too.....lolol

Your boss probably knows everything about the department leaving you to provide the detail.
To restore harmony why not arrange a quiz night of all your department's related subjects? There might be many unknown to you and the rest of the staff, then you can get on with your own jobs with respect for each other.
The best boss I had taught me a lot about management although he was less knowledgeable than me by far.
I once had another boss who knocked everything down on the basis that a rework would provide a better result.
Its a management style that works for some environments.
As for testicles don't go there, its a sad time of life for some.
One of the drugs nearly finished me last week

lmao....you sure you don't work at MY office??? one answer said take a walk during a break....what break??? what lunch hour????
We have so many sick now that I get home sometimes at 7 at night.
Seriously though, I lean back in my chair and take a deep breath between patients and phones ringing...or get up from chair and just walk around my area for a minute...anything to break what you are doing....Sometimes I have even go in lab and see doc and I tell him he will see me next on the top of desk screaming and on the attack....or cutting the phone cords...we all have a laugh and it relieves the stress of the moment....
Have a good day and just know a lot of others out there just like you,

breathing techniques are most helpful in any situation. it will help you relax and refocus. keep a stress ball in your desk. going out at lunch and on your breaks are paramount. even if it is just for a walk or a coffee. something relaxoing that will help you truly take a break from all of this. i do not advise going online at work as you will be monitored. exercising at work is also a great relief. hang in there. you will not be working with this person forever. i have been in your situation (we all called her the stripper flight attendant since she wore 4 inch stillettos all the time...even to move the office...she once told us that monkeys can do our jobs to a room of social workers! her name was linda and wanted every one to call her by another name that is a sugary treat....need i say more?) good luck

I can so relate...we must have the same boss!!!! My boss is such a jerk!!! I have told the company's owners many times, I will work one month free if they fire his sorry ___!!!

Now....your question...the way "I" relieve stress, in relation to my boss is many...

1. If you can get a picture of your boss...paste it on a punching bag....works wonders!! If you can't, just picture in your mind..the bag is your boss.

2. Laugh...either (discreetly--ie in bathroom) once you learn your boss is having a bad day.

3. Look for other jobs...I love my job...BUT---I can not tolerate putting up with the idiot any more!

4. If your boss makes a mistake....amplify it to their boss!!!

He he...

One of my friends used to wander into the office if he was stressed and announce that he was a teapot... The laughter this generated always made him feel better; I tried the same thing by wearing a pair of deely boppers to work when I was stressed out and it creates a little bubble of happy atmosphere which can lighten the day...

And at least you can feel smug that you're brighter than he is!

And of course, if he's that daft and you're not, why not angle for his job...?

Wow if your boss's IQ is this bad then one can only wonder why you were hired....

Sounds like your stress might just be brought on by your own means. Especially if this is the attitude you go to work with.

You can always quit and go on to the next job.

Make sure you leave the building at lunch time to get a good mental break from the place.

Think of the one thing that annoys you the most at work and try to solve it.

When the steam is really coming out of your ears, go to the loo and take time out for yourself.

Another job??

I am in the same boat so know exactly what you mean. Get yourself a stress ball, smash something up or better still find a new job. Lifes too short to do stuff you dont enjoy...
