I would really like to hear from anyone that has had this done. How did it go? I can't seem to find anything on the internet where people are rating the surgery or talking about personal experiences.

I have unique pain, it is very sharp and pretty high on my back (right under shoulder blades) - it goes all the way across my back. If I drink a ton of water, that helps some. I haven't injured it. Any ideas on how to make it better and stop if from happening in the future?

The doctor put my mom on morphine when she was in the hospital about five months ago. They are still perscribing liquid and tablets. She is diabetic and has severe pain in her legs. My question is she seems like she has really gone down hill since they put her on it. When I talk to her she can't look me in the eyes, its like they are crossed. She can't remember things, or do just about anything. I know she is in a lot of pain and can't walk anymore, but should we have them wean her, or are they doing this for comfort because they know there is nothing else that can be done for her at this point? Thanks for any help!

I have cervical and lumbar DDD. I have had an xray of my thorasic spine that wasn't too remarkable. I went to PT and the therapist said my rib ends were cemented into my spine. There was almost no movement where there should be. What does this mean as far as what conditions may be present. The pain is primarily constant and varies in intensity only. Movement doesn't seem to change how it feels. It is a constant ache. Both sides of the spine, just below the bottom of my shoulder blades. It moves out horizontally to the sides I have had it hurt or grab as far as my sides but it usually stays approx 2 to 4 inches from the spine.

In my upper (my right ) stomach area, i will get quck sharp pains everyonce in a while, maybe 2 to 3 times a month, the rest of the time its just little pains, I dont know if gaining a large amount of weight in a short time period would cause this.
But I have had my liver, gull, blood, intestines, and kidneys checked, and those were ok, any ideas what it could be or how to stop them

I'm 6 mos out from surgery and have a lump on the ball of my foot. Also feels like I have a cord tied around my big toe. it's not real tight but I can feel it when I wiggle my toes. Higher heeled shoes are tolerable for a short period of time. I used to walk 4-5 miles daily, but when I try to do that my foot (the ball of my foot) really starts to ache. Surgeon says that my weight has shifted and the lump may go back to where it was or it may stay the same. I'm very disappointed with my surgery. Is there any hope that this will return to normal and I can walk to my hearts content? Is any further surgery needed to correct this?

Thus far it only affects muscles (ligaments/tendons?) along the outside and back of my legs. May extend as far as ankles. A sudden rise in internal pressure, such as coughing, while I am standing, is also painful around the hips.
