The answer depends on whether or not the person has already been taking vicodin. For someone who has never taken it, it would take a lot less med to be lethal, than say a chronic pain patient who has been taking vicodin for years may be able to take the same dosage and still function normally! It depends on the individual's tolerance to the drug.

Your question is a disturbing one. It makes me wonder why you need information about a lethal dose. Please just follow the directions on the prescription.

Why do you ask? Anyone you suspect of taking an overdose of any medication should be evaluated by EMS or an emergency physician immediately (call 911.) Beyond that I'm not comfortable giving someone guidance as to how they can kill themselves or someone else with Vicodin or anything else. If you are taking the medication as prescribed and are still experiencing unmanageable pain get back with your doctor. There are other meds out there...

Well to really know you need to know how much Tylenol is in the product. are you taking 5/500 which is 5 mg of hydocodone and 500mg of Tylenol, or 7.5/750. The Tylenol is what you need to be worried about. Tylenol is in a lot of products so you need to watch out. Also a lethal dose why would you want to know. Over-dosing is not the answer and more and likely you would die of a long lasting liver disease.

It depends on the milligrams they gave you. I recommend 1 every 4 hours.
