I was able to eat pretty much anything I wanted, then about 2 years ago I started getting heartburn every time I drank orange juice or ate anything with tomatoes in it. Even if I avoided the foods that flared it up, I still ended up nauseous. Now, pretty much every time I eat I get a sick, dull pain in my upper abdomen just below and slightly to the left of my breastbone, in between my ribs. If I bend over I nearly vomit, and have actually vomited before because of it. It's not that I'm eating too much, I eat regular portoin sizes and rarely eat seconds. I ate lasagna tonight and felt like I was going to faint, it hurt so bad. It was dull pain, but it felt kind of like someone was putting out a cigar in my stomach. I don't have any blood in my vomit or anywhere else, and I still have somewhat of an appetite, although I'm getting to the point that I don't want to eat at all just to avoid the nausea. I don't want to have an ulcer, but I'm afraid that's what it is. What do you think?
