Don't go outside with out a cap to cover and keep your ears warm. Try gentle heat to the effected ear with a heating pad on low,or a hot water bottle.Try some Tylenol or Ibuprofen for pain, for a very short time only,if your not better you must see your MD,most important, you may have an infection and need antibiotics etc. Take care. If over the counter meds like Advil for 1 day doesn't make it better, you should go see a doctor. Pain can be caused by many things, like a bacterial or fungal infection. You may probably need antibiotics, for which you need a dr's prescription. Do not wait long, as the longer you wait the harder it will be to erradicate the problem. Also, a really bad infection may even cause nerve damage since there are so many nerves that control balance, facial expression, etc, near the ear canal and are very fragile.

Tooth aches are usually related to some form of tooth/root or gum infection, and an infection anywhere in the head cause a world of problems, eye pain and head aches are actually minor compared to some people's issues. I had a tooth ache that literally knocked me unconcious with pain. The absessed tooth had to be extracted, but the infection still hung around for a couple more months. See a dentist, and an eye nose throat specialist, and give each of them the other's business card so they may compare notes and better decide a treatment

I am not certain, but it may be that the draft caused condensation in your inner ear, & the beginings of an infection. This may be agrivated by blocked sinuses.
Breathing in eucalyptus oil (10 drops) fumes from a cup of boiling water though both mouth & nose - got to try & get the fumes into your eustation tubes that are connected to your inner ear. If sinus is blocked, unblock with nasel spray first.

i got swimmers ear years ago and then it came back every six months. it was awful and set me up with lots of antbiotics. I was led to read the yeast connection by (no joke) dr crook (widely available.) and found out that i could no longer tolerate certain foods and needed to eat a lot of yogurt. since then Its been way better. that is one possibility.

Acupuncture is the only best treatment available today if it is non-infectious. Don't fall prey to doctors; they will drag you to operation theatre.
