The price of birmingham hip surgery is very low in India as compared to USA, UK and Canada. My cousin also got her hip replacement surgery in India through the forerunners healthcare .She is more than very happy with the results. She is totally pain free now. She just paid 25% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines. I have read a lot of their patient stories also. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as all joint surgery is not covered by insurance in USA or by NHS in the UK. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

I had a co-worker that had it done about three years ago and he was happy with the results. This procedure has only been around for ten years (including clinical trails) thus the long term wear effects on the joints is still unknown but looks promising compared to hip replacements of the 60, 70, 80's.

Good luck!

My sister had it done just a couple of months back in India because she was uninsured and it was quite expensive in the US. Besides, it was approved only recently in the US and the surgeons there were not that trained. Well, she is very happy with the results. It has improved her life tremendously. And the best part is she got it done at only a fraction of the cost in the US.

She didn't even have to bother herself with finding the right hospital and the right surgeons. She hooked up with a medical tourism facilitator called Healthbase (http://www.healthbase.com) and they did the job for her. They arranged her medical itinerary and did everything else that was needed. They even got her medical loan approved.

Try working with the principles taught in The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with it.
