So unable to resist obviously I scratched it and ended up breaking the skin which subsequently formed a wound/blemish. Then it healed and all was fine and then it happened again and it keeps happening like a cycle but I don't understand why just this bit of my leg itches, it happens no where else and I don't know where it started from mayb a bug bite or something?!?! Why does it do this and how can I stop it?

School starts on the 4th, I will need to wake up around 6, for the bus, I go to bed around 10, but cannot fall asleep! Then in the morning I set my alarm to 7, its even across my room so I have to get up, but I go right back to sleeping. I've even tried setting my alarm early so when I get up I will be tired so I will fall asleep that night, but I just turn my alarm off and go back to bed. I don't watch TV at night, if i drink caffiene it's like in the morning, which for me is like 11.30. Please help! Sleeping is one of my fav. things to do!

(Can't take a warm bath at night because we have a standup shower, not a tub)
I probally couldn't take sleeping pills because I'm 12.

I know that last part was gross, but I have been feeling like this since Monday...I called my clinic and I was supposed to get a call back...this was at 2pm today, it is now 6pm and no call. I have a fever, my body aches, my throat is swollen and sore, my eyes feel very strained and it hurts to look into any direction and I just had several bowl movements that were practically liquid...I don't know what's wrong. I have never had something like this...advice?

Why is it that when I sleep on my right side that I have panic attacks and really bad nightmares. One night I tried to wake up and I couldn't. My body felt stiff and I was floating in the air. I could look down and see my body. I looked like I was dead. That has happened to me a couple of times. Finally when I could get awake, I woke up in a really cold sweat and the sheets were soaked. This scared me to death. Any ideas why this happens? Has this happened to anyone else?

CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation when you are hours away from the nearest medical treatment facility) 8.27.2007

The chest compressions are more important than the mouth to mouth; the chest compressing keeps the heart pumping and the blood flowing.

The formula is two mouth to mouth breaths about one second long after tilting the head up and making sure the airway is open; then compress the chest with the heel of your hand thirty times in eighteen seconds using a fast and firm motion (let the chest rise after the compression), repeat the sequence. Keep these efforts going until professionals arrive to take over. My problem was remembering how many compressions we are supposed to do in a given length of time. Write this on your fishing, jogging, biking, camping log or wherever you see it often and please attend a certified CPR class for important details.. Sunday’s Parade supplied details, my memory tip is:
1, 2 + 30n18 = CPR (CPR simple as 1, 2, 3)

My wife has been approved for breast reduction surgery. We have United Healthcare Insurance. My question is has anyone ever been approved for a tummy tuck that had united healthcare? If so what did you have to do to be approved? She is trying for the tummy tuck because she has lost over 170 lbs. without stomach reduction surgery, and has excess skin, and has been denied. We are appealing now, and its important to her to get the approval. Any help will be appreciated.

Soo I already missed 3 weeks in June b/c I had major knee surgery. Then on the 17th of August I had another knee surgery. I was supposed to go back on Monday; but that wasnt feasible. I went back Tuesday and then Wednesday I contracted some sort of rash that STILL hasnt gone away. I'm also having a problem with my breathing. I am too exhausted even to sit up right now and stay sedated from the meds I'm on. My doctor has no idea when I can go back to work; but my job isnt exactly 'understanding'. (especially since they just fired someone out of the blue b/c of some immaturity on their part). But my doctor has been faxing them doctors excuses as we go along. I dont want to lose my job; but I definitely cant perform my job tasks. What should I do? I have been kinda putting off calling my supervisor the past few days b/c I refuse to get yelled and made to feel bad about being sick.

I have a very large, prominent nose that I have been unhappy with for years. And don't say it's probably not that bad, if you saw it, you could not deny it's a large nose. I'm similar looking to Christina Aguliera, except with a large nose, so I don't think I'm really ugly or anything, my nose is just very unattractive and not proportional to the rest of my face.

I also have sinus problems (deviated septum I think) which may need corrective surgery, so I am considering going ahead with the cosmetic surgery at the same time. The thing is, I don't have the finances for just a cosmetic surgery, so I'm wondering how this could work out with my other surgery and the insurance. Would a doctor be able to write both off to insurance? Any info would be helpful.

Everywhere we hear, "Ask your doctor." Anyone who writes anything about health has to put in a disclaimer that you should ask your doctor. But if you have a health question, how do you really try to find out the answer? And if you do happen to to be talking to your doctor, does he/she actually answer your questions or just brush you off?

Can anyone help me with this one. My friend was helping me the other day when it was very hot and the work was grueling to say the least. He poured with sweat for ages and over the next 2 days felt very unwell with bad headaches and confusion. I really felt that it was due to losing minerals through over sweating and made sure he drank loads of water. was I correct? and can you buy tissue salts to replenish the body? Many thanks to you.

Last night I layed down at 12 and tossed and turned all night, finally decided to get up and go to work early at 6am. Now it's 2:30pm and I can barely keep my eyes open at work. I could leave early because I came in so early but all I want to do is sleep. What should I do? Im afraid if I dont sleep a little while I'm tired now I won't be able to sleep again through the night and I'll be doubley tired tomorrow.

I have been dealing with cancer for several years and I am very weak right now. I am on Medicare and I also have Blue Cross through my husband's work. For years, I have not only been battling the cancer, but also the constant disputes between these two insurance carriers. Since I have overlapping insurance from both, I should have to pay very little, and right now I am looking at $11500.00 in medical bills since January of this year. We've paid $5600.00 of that. I am weak physically and emotionally, and we can't afford a lawyer. Both Medicare and Blue Cross ignore my pleas to settle the disputes and pay the bills. Right now, I have bills from three hospitals and all of them say that Blue Cross won't pay until Medicare pays, and Medicare is saying they won't pay yet because Blue Cross is the primary. I think Medicare is correct, but I'm not certain. Is there any government agency which oversees such issues and could resolve this ongoing dilemma?
