I know that last part was gross, but I have been feeling like this since Monday...I called my clinic and I was supposed to get a call back...this was at 2pm today, it is now 6pm and no call. I have a fever, my body aches, my throat is swollen and sore, my eyes feel very strained and it hurts to look into any direction and I just had several bowl movements that were practically liquid...I don't know what's wrong. I have never had something like this...advice?

You likely either have food poisoning (did you eat out last night, or eat something that might have been too old?) or you have what is commonly referred to as a stomach flu (although it is not caused by a flu virus). In either case, the treatment is the same. Get lots of rest, drink plenty of fluids, take Tylenol for the fever and muscle aches, and take Pepto Bismol or Kaopectate to help with the diarrhea. You should be all better in 2 to 3 days. If you are not, or you get a lot worse, see a doctor, although I expect you'll be better soon.

sounds like a strain of the Flu.
the strained eyes are from the fever.. you need some tylenol and a LOT of sleep, get some rest.
If the glands at your throat are swollen that could signify an infection of sorts, like an upper respiratory infection, so if it isn't better by Friday get to your clinic.. walk in and demand to be seen!
Feel better!

Sounds like the flu you can narrow it down by typing in multiple symptoms into the symptom checker on web md. It will tell you to seek emergency care if you have pain in your throat though. I wouldnt worry too much except for the "swollen throat". you could limit the ammount of air, making it an urgent care issue. Just go to the doc or ER and get it over with. Hope you feel better.

If your fever hits 103 or more - then I would go to urgent care. Otherwise, take some vitamins, eat or drink some soup, and get plenty of fluid and rest. Sounds like the flu to me.

Maybe you should think about getting a new clinic too.

You really need to see a doctor. If you can't manage that, why not call your pharmacist and get something for the loose stools so you won't become more dehydrated? Take Tylenol for the fever and drink lots of liquids....no alcohol or coffee. Rest until you can see a doctor.

I hope you get better soon.

You need to go to the hospital if this gets any worse, a 100+ fever combined with your other problems could mean serious trouble for you. This could also be a very severe flu that has progressively gotten worse.

Sounds like flu to me. Drink plenty of water, don't take anything with aspirin in it for the fever, get lots of rest and you will feel better in a few days. If symptoms persist call your doctor.

Sounds like real bad intestinal flu. Get some kind of fluid you can keep down, gater-aid (along that line). Call you clinic again tomorrow.

It's not flu season. If the diarrhea continues for 48 hours you need to see a doctor.
