My wife has been approved for breast reduction surgery. We have United Healthcare Insurance. My question is has anyone ever been approved for a tummy tuck that had united healthcare? If so what did you have to do to be approved? She is trying for the tummy tuck because she has lost over 170 lbs. without stomach reduction surgery, and has excess skin, and has been denied. We are appealing now, and its important to her to get the approval. Any help will be appreciated.

She lost the weight over 2 years ago, and is having back problems because of it.

She is having moisture issues and skin breakdown, with some infections.

NO!

It's a considered cosmetic surgery. Insurances will not give up THEIR money for this.
