School starts on the 4th, I will need to wake up around 6, for the bus, I go to bed around 10, but cannot fall asleep! Then in the morning I set my alarm to 7, its even across my room so I have to get up, but I go right back to sleeping. I've even tried setting my alarm early so when I get up I will be tired so I will fall asleep that night, but I just turn my alarm off and go back to bed. I don't watch TV at night, if i drink caffiene it's like in the morning, which for me is like 11.30. Please help! Sleeping is one of my fav. things to do!

(Can't take a warm bath at night because we have a standup shower, not a tub)
I probally couldn't take sleeping pills because I'm 12.

I don't drink milk, and I've tried to listen to music softly. My curtians are always open, it doesn't really affect me. But then also I got a new alarm, I lost my other one in our move, this one has a new noise, and I dont like it. My double huge windows face the way the sun rises too!

Do you drink tea for supper?

ALSO--pray and you will fall asleep.
It works EVERY TIME!.

Either God will help you to fall asleep
OR Satan doesn't want you praying and he'll knock you right off to sleep.

PRAYER works!!
I PROMISE!

If you can't fall asleep after 20 mins or so.. what you need to do is..read a book for a while, listen to calming music, drink warm milk. What time do you normally fall asleep? Hmm.. what you need to do is try to fall asleep a little earlier every night. As for getting up.. You are now becoming a teenager.. and you need more sleep. One way to help is to open the curtain. The natural sun light will help to wake your body up. And if you still having problems after a few months, maybe you have sleep apnea? have you talked to your parents about your sleep problem too.. Maybe they can help wake you up in the morning..
Good luck.. I know that i went through the same thing :D

Are you taking a nap after school? If yes then stop. Also, try to exercise after school. It will help relieve your stress and burn extra energy!
