I have been feeling very lethargic lately. Thyroid is good and I eat healthy (vegetables, fruit, little meat, etc) but I have noticed my energy levels are low. How do I increase my metabolism and energy with natural products and/or methods? PS> I'm often sleep deprived. Might have a lot to do with it.

When I was about 6 or 7, for a couple years I had this thing where when I ran, or walked heavily, I would hear this clicking sound it my, head, like a little mini metal ball. I could never figure out what it was, my Dad said the same thing happened to him when he was little too, but I dont have it anymore and I have completely forgotten about it. What was it?

So I was messing around with youtube and found this
Note: Normally, I wouldnt really care to advise about this but...if you have kids around its best they not see this. Its not dirty, but unless you let your kids watch things like surgery...yeah.

for an awful long time I feel like the bed is like an oven. Every night for at least a couple of hours before bedtime I turn the bedclothes down. I have tried tonic water some years ago (at the suggestion of my doctor). My legs feel as though they are burning, so I put a cold flannel on them. to no avail. I apparently am not on the menopause any more. The bedroom windows are always left open, and there is certainly no heat on, but on saying that, quite often when I am sitting in the front room, the sweat practically rolls off me. The annoying part about it is, my husband has been retired for about 6 months, and he has gone from being pretty active to zilch , on his computer most of the day. He can climb into bed, and quite often be snoring his head off, whilst I am lying awake. There does not seem to be any logic in it, as I am on the go, and get tired, and there`s him not doing much of anything, and does not seem to have much of a problem sleeping

I recently had a breast reduction (12 days ago). When is it alright to drink? Will it slow healing? Does it make the swelling worse?

NOTE: I've been 100% off all prescription medications for days now.

My boy has asthma, his lung capacity is 26 % and his meds were recently uped due to them being so poor. ( he was at 34 %)
It is 94 here and feels like 105. His friend just called and again like 2 days ago, asked if he could go outside to play.
I was told to NOT have him out on days like today because it could cause him trouble breathing.
The NEWS even says, "Any persons with heart, breathing problems, the old & the young, those who are pregnant...should stay inside out of the heat."
Doesn't his parents watch the news? I have told these people before that my boy has severe asthma!
It is only common sense ...right?
So, what is your take on allowing an asthmatic 9 yr old out to play in the heat?

Yes, or HECK NO!

BTW- for the rest of the week they are calling for it to be between 94 and 100 and it will feel like 105- 115.

Thanks in advance!

How much water do you drink to wake up in how much time?
Like 1L = 2 hours if u get the idea?!
And does this actually work without you wetting yourself?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I'm noticing my urine is dark and cloudy, and I've had a backache for a day or two. I don't have pain when going though. Is cranberry juice the best thing to drink? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I just quit smoking about 3 days ago (Saturday night) and I am having the normal cravings and figidiness, but as of last night I had the most rotten sleep of my life! And I was exhausted when I went to bed! I woke up numerous times, talking to myself, and looking at the clock. Also, I want to eat cheese a lot! Lots and lots of melted cheese! This may be the strangest part of all... my breasts are EXTREMELY sensitive (sore)! Now, I read online that when you quit, the nerve endings in your body begin to grow again and you may get strange sensations, and food tastes better, but it is almost like being pregnant! I am at my 3rd day right now, can someone tell me when it will get better? I heard your 3rd day is the worst.. so hopefully it is all downhill from here!

well, the nail does not penetrate the the nailbed or the surrounding flesh around the toenail. its just, under one of my toenail, there is another toenail that is growing. It doesn't hurt a bit. What's happening to my nails??

I sweat during sleep when I'm first going to bed (my bed is also a leather couch, that I put a sheet over). I wake up in the middle of the night with my sheets soaked in sweat, however its not a cold sweat and I don't wake up sweating. Is it just the case that my body is overheating before and while I sleep ? Its mainly started in the past few weeks because where I have been living in NY has been hot and humid everyday even at night (you can go out at 3:30 a.m. like I just did to have a cigarette and it's miserably hot and humid) and the window A/C isn't fully cooling the apt. ?
