You should get the vasectomy, then the eye surgery.

A vasectomy is "dirt cheap".

If you have health insurance the vasectomy will cost you almost nothing. If you go to a non-profit clinic it will cost you maybe $600 with no insurance. That is a “drop in the bucket” compared to what the eye surgery will cost. In light of that you can get both.

I got my vasectomy 20 years ago, when I was 21. I figure it cost me $1.42 a month over 20 years. I also consider that it has saved me thousands and thousands because I have never had the burden of child support.

The eye surgery will save you on glasses. Glasses cost about $300 per year.

Good luck!
