Alright, well every so ofter i get this 10 second dizzy spell, i feel like i am about to fall over, and light headed and then its gone. i know as a fact i am not pregnant so its not high blood pressure, and i am not hypoglycemic..any ideas?

i had my left knee scoped, and now i am having sever pain when i bend it more than 90 degrees. i am still waiting to start physical therepy. but my knee still hurts, even worse than before i had the surgery. how do i get the medical discharge started if i do qualify for one.

In the morning i cant wake up very well because I am a very deep sleepy. With the new school year coming up, I neep help on ways I can get myself up in the morning. I've tried alarm clocks and somtimes they work and other times they don't. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I could use, please let me know. Thanks!

My neck area becomes itchy and hurts. It sometimes makes my skin rise up and look like small bubbles on my neck. I really am not sure what causes it. I think it just from the rubbing of my t-shirt and the constant exposure to the sand, salt, and sun. It bothers me like crazy and everything i tried to calm down the irritation doesnt seem to work. if anyone has very sensitive skin like i do and knows what could possible make the irritation go away let me know! thanks!

I've been staying up real lae all summer-- like till 4am every night? but now I have to get ready to get back to a normal schdule, up at 7am. Any suggestions? I try to go to bed at midnight, however it doesn't work and I toss and turn. I really don't want to use drugs either. How can I adjust my sleeping pattern asap?

Hi lads. If you had had more than one partner and 6 of them fell pregnant with your child and then all suffered miscarriages how would you feel? Obviously some of you would be upset but what else would be going on in your head?

Only asking because someone I know has been with many women - 6 of which have had miscarriages yet he still continues to sleep around unprotected. Would you be so callous and thoughtless to do that or put it down to pure co-incidence?

My cousin has gastric bypass surgery, and to get insurance to pay she had to go through 6 months of "medically treated weightloss", whatever that is, and had to write a long letter on why she felt she needed the surgery. She had to go see a phychiatrist for a evaluation, had to get a pap smear, and all kinds of other stuff. I checked with my insurance, and it covers bypass surgery. It just has to be pre-certified. Which any surgery I may have has to be precertified. So I was wondering since my insurance will pay, will I have to go through that long process too?

Im 22, not overweight but not particularly active. Some nights I can't get to sleep because my legs ache. It feels muscular and i feel the need to stretch my legs out (although this never makes the sensation go away). I can usually sleep after taking ibuprofen, what could this be? PS this does not happen every night

The last week i have been feeling kinda sleepy and groogy most of the day, i am getting 7-8 hours sleep, and i tried taking an hour nap during the day - if anything it made the sleepy feeling worse. Can anyone help with a reason why or a way to shake off the feeling? - thanks

Hello. I just got my bill from an ER visit a couple weeks back and I believe it has some errors as I remember all the tests I had done but maybe I just don't understand the way they coded this. I plan on calling them Moday morning but was hoping somebody here might be able to help.

There is a charge for 2 PULMONARY DIAG. $184.00
--but they didn't check my lungs at all unless they are counting when the DR. used her stethoscope and listened to me inhale and exhale.
There is a charge for 1 PHARMACY $178.00
--but I wasn't given any medication - not even a prescription
There is a charge for 1 IV THERAPY $363.00
--would a foley catheter used for an ultrasound count as this? That is the only way that would make sense.
All my other charges make sense to me except there is a charge for 2 EMERGENCY ROOM $1,183.00
Why would it be for "2"? Does anybody know???

And it says "You will receive a serparate bill for physician services"...what would this include?

£17.50p per WEEK will help control this appalling .illness.
For each and every week that this drug manages to stop this ilness going beyond the mild stage it will save a staggering amount of money per patient.
When it goes beyond the mild stage the costs rise dramatically. nursing homes, home care. Also by then the patient is in serious decline and the quality of life has in essence already passed them by.
Could somebody out there just explain the financial logic of the decision of NICE to withold these drugs which can help enhance these peoples lives

I would like to know the details on the rules about nurses not being able to date there patients.

1. How long has it been in place?
2. Is there a time frame for when it no longer applies to the patient after he is discharged or is it indefinite?

and any other useful info you think I should know. I am just curious about this. I don't know any nurses I want to date, but I have like 2-3 years ago.

my sleeping patterns are terrible at the minute and im feeling quite exhausted!!im a 16 year old girl who knows her own body and what it needs to function i always feel like i need at least 9hours sleep which isnt always possible with my lifestyle!!i need help to change my sleep patterns recently i have been unable to sleep til after 1'oclock in the morning i then am exhausted in the morning i cant rise til after 11 i hate this as im missing out on my day...i've tried getting up earlier!!when i turn off my light at night my mind goes into overdrive and i cant get to sleep....help??!

Last Saturday, I wore some fairly tight jeans. Now I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but throughout the day I became more and more uncomfortable. When I took off my jeans later that night, I noticed several large bumps on my stomach and left side. I also found two little rows on my back. They look a bit like bug bites, but are really close together. The patch on my tummy consists of about 9, and the one on my side and the two rows on my back are just two "bites" each, but right next to each other.

The thing about this rash is that it doesn't just itch, it burns! Sometimes, I'll get stinging pain with it, like little needles poking right through the skin. It's insane, and nothing seems to help. I've tried calamine lotion, Benadryl, triple antibiotics, alchohol wipes, and Aveeno anti itch. All things that I've had good luck with in the past but not this time.

So, I'm wondering ~ what on earth could this be???
