People shouldn't lie about their age to get on here for one thing.... But it is possible, and HIGHLY UNLIKELY. It's better to wake up by the sun...

Anytime you get up to fast, whether it be in the morning right after the alarm goes off or when sitting on the couch watching TV. Some health problems can make it happen often, but when it happens right after you awake and get up fast, you have been asleep and you are not fully alert and your blood pressure is lower so yes it is possible that anyone could faint but very rarely unless combined with illness and medications. You would probably only stumble like most of us do when we get up after the dreaded buzz of the alarm. So, don't let it worry you, just sit on the side of the bed for a few moments, collect your thoughts, take a big stretch like a kitty cat does when they awaken after a cat nap and then go on to your normal morning routines and you will be fine! Please Take care and God Bless you!

This condition is called BPV; which is benign positional vertigo.

Near-syncope is due to reduced blood flow to the entire brain and is classically described as feeling faint or lightheaded. Because people frequently stand up from either a sitting or lying position, our CNS has evolved a complicated neural reflex that allows us to preserve blood flow to the brain in the standing position.

At 11 yrs of age, you shouldn't be concerned with this malady as this is common among elderly people.

BPV, in general, is a disease of elderly persons, although onset can occur at any age. Several large studies show an average age of onset in the mid 50s. Vertigo in young patients is more likely to be caused by labyrinthitis (associated with hearing loss) or vestibular neuronitis (normal hearing).

But if you're afraid of feeling faint or lightheaded; upon waking up in the morning, sit at the bedside before getting out of bed. This way your sense of balance will be maintained.

i highly doubt that there is any relation btw alarm clock and fainting. fainting is normally due to decreased blood flow to the brain, which also means decreased oxygen. while there are also other medical factors like anxiety, heart problems, and genetics that may cause fainting, i have not yet come across any studies/finding which suggests a direct correlation btw the alarm and fainting.

It could happen if you stood up too fast...so, just don't stand up too fast, and you're fine.
Now, go to bed. Where are your parents?
