You may need to have a sleep study. Check with your doctor. You may have sleep apnea that needs to be treated.

Nose strips that open your air path. Dunno if anything stops the issue. Without being facetious, clear breathing air path, may help. Get this, my Neurologist actually said,
"it has been suggested that the nose strips may help as they have been thought to open and clear air paths. The drug and health device manufacturers have heard that there just may exist, some success with their products. Though the positive result reports amid stories are anecdotal in nature, they just may in fact, help. Those products and many others may be purchased from most local Drug Stores or Outlets".

Then the Neurology Staff all broke for lunch, that a particular Drug Company serves up, at no cost to the entire Hospital Staff, every day. They compete to see which company is allowed to serve, this takes place Evey day. This Hospital Clinic is St. Luke's and the entire M. D. Anderson Hospital and Research Campus, here in Houston Texas. That one Complex alone is large as 5 football fields. They make more and their profitability with mark ups is more than any petroleum refinery in the world. More than Dow or even Shell. Staff workers also have at their call, free transportation for any purpose, including to and from work. Was part of a University study I did on large company profitability. Go figure, the profits made by Bio Gen, Astra Zenia, all of the big boys, make 4 to 5 times what the Oil companies post. I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis so I know I help pay for many MBZ AMG automobiles, River Oaks Country Club upgrades and many "research" trips overseas.

Absolutely no disrespect is implied or intended. The world renowned medical staff and all personnel are truly outstanding and wonderful folks. We are blessed to have such a facility at our needs here.

Sorry for my venting, God bless America, we are besot with money. Oh well, least we have our health.

For serious snorers, the solution will usually warrant medication, surgery or a change in lifestyle. Medication usually means pharmaceutical products such as throat sprays, snoring pillows, or mouth guards for ways to stop snoring.

Get a sleep test. There may be more to your snoring than you realize. Consult your doctor.

dont sleep on your back. go to sleep earlier than your normal time (ex. if you normally retire at 10pm, go to bed at 8pm). being tired at night (or working really hard during the day [ex. yrd work/housework])makes you snore.
