Well the question says it all. I havent been able to eat for it will be 4 days tonight and its horrible. Like i DO get hungry but when i try to eat its like when the food hits my tongue its just discusting. I know, "go to the doctor". Well i dont want to. Not unless this gets really horrible.
So what are some easy things to eat that i can maybe suck on?
please no crackers. my mouth it soo dry for that. I am trying to keep myself drinking water at all times though.

You're going to have to force yourself to eat. It sounds to me like you have an eating disorder. You're hungry but nothing tastes good. That is a sign of an eating disorder. It won't help to go to the doctor because it doesn't sound like a medical problem.

If you don't think it's an eating disorder, try to eat your favorite foods. Maybe some ice cream or pizza. This way you eat and you can make sure it's not an eating disorder.

Its either you are anorexic or there is something wrong with your swallowing? How much water do you drink?

Maybe you are taking any medicine that causes your mouth to be so dry? A diuretic or any hypertension medicines?

I had a friend who developed a cyst down his throat. He was a smoker. Are you a heavy smoker?

Why do not you want to go see a doctor?

Better see the doctor while its still early, if you go see the doctor when its horrible, the doctor might not be able to do anything about it anymore.

SEE YOUR DOCTOR!

In the meantime -

If you are having a problem with texture but not flavor:
Try real fruit juice Popsicles as your source of vitamin C.
Plain chicken bouillon for a bit of protein and replace some salts.
Jell-O for more protein.
Peanut butter if you can do it will provide neccessary oils, vegetable proteins, and some vitamins.
Try to see if smell is making you sick. try to smell and focus on remembering what tasted good connected to those smells. Try to reduce stressors when eating - turn off what my daughter calls "angry music", turn off the tv, try to relax, maybe take your liquid foods and take yourself to a quiet park instead of freaking out inside your house. By changing the environment you change your point of view and your focus on the food itself will diminish as you focus on those different surroundings.
It's better for you to feed yourself than from a feeding tube from the hospital, so try to relax.
Good Luck and prayers to you.

um, i think that this is really horrible if you can't eat. if you aren't vegetarian, try some chicken, like mcdonalds chicken nuggets. highly processed food is easier to eat sometimes. or try some peaches, out of a can. and you need to be drinking more than water. if you can, try drinking gatorade, propel, stuff like that that will replenish the electrolytes you aren't getting by not eating.

This happens to me on occasion. If you are on any medications that you take once daily, this may be the cause. Try to eat, and if your condition does not improve within the next few days SEE YOUR DOCTOR!
