I only have one kidney.. does my diet have to be different or anything? I knwo i can't have as much alcohol.. How much do you think is okay? Any imput on having one kidney, or if you know anything on this topic, will help Thanks

I was pulling apart my stapler and one of the staples poked me, actually a good bit went into my thumb. I haven't had a tetanus shot since I was a teenabger so I am sure I would be out of date ( I am now 23, I dont remember when they were required back then) Should I go get a tetanus shot tomorrow?

I need to know if I am alone on this....have you ever wanted to try something that you are allergic to.....I was 5 and almost died from an allergic reation to strawberries....thing is I want to taste one REALY bad....sometimes I think if sitting with my epi pen at the ready and trying one....anyone else feel like that?

numb sensation from just below knee to just above ankle. walking , massaging , resting or bathing neither irritate or improve this.have recently started new job and am on my feet for 9 or 10 hours every day. problem never occured before.

I believe I hyperextended my left knee back ward and the instant pain was dramatic...It's been two weeks or more...now, my knee is filled with fluid, and painful....I iced, rested, etc. and it is ok but still very traumatized...water on knee? arthritis? I am scared but don't want to operate...any suggestions would help. It makes me exhausted too...I am not easily slowed down but this is doing it. Thank you

I've had both hips replaced. And am read to get back out there. Is any one awhare of the amounts pressure which can be put on the joints. like weight barring. claiming. YA YA I asked the doctor, And many other ones also. I'd like to here it from some one who has gone through it.

As my question states, I gave oral sex and now I'm scared I may get herpes in or on the mouth because of it. I'm not sure if my boyfriend has the virus yet but I know I do. I'm not broke out as far as I can see but we have had sex and then I gave him oral sex. I'm kind of scared.

Only the right hand side. At the end of the day is more pronounced. At night, it limits movement, early morning is stiff and painfull. Massage does not solve, Muscle relaxant aids but does not solve. Any ideas on how to go back to normal? tks.

for the past several weeks i have been burping constantly. well not exactly constantly, but A LOT. just so you know, i do not drink any carbonated beverages, mostly water. i dont eat large meals and i am not overweight, actually i am a bit underweight. i have also had chest pain during the past several weeks. not sharp pain but more like pressure pain. occasionally i will lose my medicine in the toilet too when i have a bowel movement and this usually happens when i have bloating and gas, but this has been going on a lot longer like over a year but has only happened a handful of times. my nurse friend says it sounds like i have a malabsorption problem sometimes and that the constant belching sounds like gallbladder problems. but i thought gallbladder pain was supposed to be in the right side and she said the belching is an early sign and the pain will come later. so is this true?

doctors (for other things) and the dentist, and no one mentioned any concern. But now it is getting stranger. There is sort of a pimple there now and my lip in general looks more purplish, except for the whitened area. None of this can be from any kind of lipstick, etc. because I don't use any. In any case, I don't want to make a special trip into doctor-thought some of you out there might know what might be going on, have had a similar experience or have some medical knowledge-would appreciate your feedback. Anything I can do/not do regarding it? Oh, and it's been there a long time now-except for the pimpling-which is recent. What can I do to make it go away?
