I am going in hospital tomorrow for rhinoplasty, and i am just getting over a cold, i have a slight sniffel, and a slight tickle in my throat, is this enough to have to re schedule my op? I have been dreading it, and just want it over with, i have another day until the operation, do you think i will be deemed fit enough to operate on?

i live alone in an apartment and nightmare is getting to a big problem in my life since recetly, a friend of mine told me a song called gloomy sunday a few months ago and stuff like how this song has killed so many ppl. and than i did a little bit research on that song and listened to that song and i dont know if i understood anything from the lyrics but that makes me feel a little unconfortable and i often dream about that. anyone give me some advince please

I am hoping I can get some pointers on this. I am so eager to learn everything. I have so many interests. My problem is that when I read not only am I distracted, but I never remember what I read when I do comprehend it. I feel like one of lifes biggest gifts is taken from me because of this. Is there anyone who has had this problem, and found a solution. Is there some obvious answer that I am to stupid to see?
By the way I have been like this since about 4th grade. I am now 28.

I have had a fever since last thrusday, it ranges anywhere from normal to 104.3. Friday night my fever was so high that I uncontrollably shivered all night long. Ever since then I've had a splitting migrain that will not go away. I have tried everything from tylenol, IBprofin, execedrin migrain, and tylenol sinus headache. I haven't really been able to eat anything since saturday because I get so sick to my stomach and I've thrown up. What do you think I should do? What does it sound like to you?

After showering, whether in hot or cold water, regardless of soap and shampoo, I'm left with a tingling itch all over my body which lasts about fifteen minutes. My girlfriend reports the same sensation. Now, I live on Lake Michigan, so I'm dealing with some hard water problem I believe. Is there a way to "cure" this? Lotion after a shower does nothing, and air drying makes it worse. I can't come close to affording a water softener, and I rent anyways to it's out of the question. Anyone ever have to deal with this problem?

Heres the story, please help if you can
Ok I get frequent UTIs and have had 2 severe kidney infections. I get kidney stones from the freguent UTIs and they are aparently from sex (not just from a particular individual and with or without condoms) This has been occuring since I was 16. So my urologist put me on a cephalosporin anti-biotic and told me to take 1 every time I have sex and then gave me a higher dose for when ever I happen to get a UTI. I get about 6 months worth which last me up tp a year. I have been on this regimin for years now and have been seeing multiple things happening. I now have a peptic ulcer, acid reflux, have strep throat 2 or so times a year and have had multiple kinds of infections (upper resperatory, yeast infections, etc) I told a friend who basicly brought to light that the anitibiotics are not only killing bad bacteria but are killing the good too. Now I was near my nephew who has strep for 1 hr and I have a blister on my throat. What should I do?

He has a cold, sore throat, his couldn't breathe from his nose. i'm in desperate need of help because he wouldn't listen to what i say, i told him to drink lots of waters, but he won't listen,, and although he eats his medicine but it still won't work. does anyone knows the express way of curing a cold, and sore throat, what food to give him? what drinks to give him?? well, i'll try any incoming good advice, except going to the doctor, he won't ever agree to that. thx ^ ^

I have a lot of stiffness and pain in my fingers. I thought it was because I started a job where I have to use my hands all day but now it has moved to my left hand as well and I don't use that one very often. It is worse in the morning or when it is cold but arthritis meds don't do anything. It feels like there is fluid or something on my knuckles that won't let them bend. Can't afford going to doctor but would like to know what it is.

i dont think it is ringworm because there isnt any marks but this does feel like a crawling feeling and it has been itching for atleast a month.it's not pink or marked at all.any suggestions?

Please, only serious answers here. I, at first thought it was gas, but the pain is still in the lower left side of my abdomen. I've had my appendics removed already, so that leaves that out. It feels as if I've just had surgery. I can press on it, and it feels as if I've just don't sit ups. It's not cramps, but as I said, a pain that feels as if I've just had surgery. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? It all started around the time I stacked some firewood.
