I have had a fever since last thrusday, it ranges anywhere from normal to 104.3. Friday night my fever was so high that I uncontrollably shivered all night long. Ever since then I've had a splitting migrain that will not go away. I have tried everything from tylenol, IBprofin, execedrin migrain, and tylenol sinus headache. I haven't really been able to eat anything since saturday because I get so sick to my stomach and I've thrown up. What do you think I should do? What does it sound like to you?

Hopefully, you have already dialed 911 and are on your way to the emergency room. You need medical assistance asap!

You need to see a doctor. It could be anything.

It could be something as simple as an ear infection or virus to something very serious. I'm not saying I think this is what it is but things like meningitis or other very serious illnesses can start with headaches, fever and other flu symptoms.

This is only Sunday, so the chance that you have some virus is a real possibililty; but the headache and fever are the things you need to get checked out. A doctor can rule out anything serious; but if you had something serious it can go from sick to really, really, sick in a matter of hours. I'm not trying to scare you. Its probably some kind of virus, and a headache can come with fever. Still, you have enough symptoms for long enough that you should get it checked out.

See a doctor but if it is the flu do not take drugs. None can help it. I had a bad fllu with 103.8 fever, constant shivering and the worst headache ever but I stopped eating and got over it quckly. See this site on colds and flus.

Holy... Call the doctor in the morning and get in to see her/him. A fever that's lasted that long and fluctualts indicates some sort of infection. Unless you awke up and it's gone, go see someone first thing. Never mess with a long lasting fever.

You really should go to the emergency room now! I can't tell you what it might be because I am not a doctor, but I can tell you that having a fever that high for that long can do some serious damage!!

It could be a simple viral infection or it could be meningitis and in that case you need immediate medical attention. Err on the side of caution and go to the emergency room NOW before you suffer irreparable damage. Fever that high is a symptom of serious illness. Please go now.

Are you pregnant? When I was pregnant, I had those same symptoms. Bad this is, I never went to the doctor, I just stayed at home and tried to tolerate the pain.
