I have just asked my better half who is a Nurse and she says that you will be assessed before you have any operation, and the fact that you are still getting over a cold could affect the decision, but not necessarily, it all depends on a number of factors i.e Breathing capabilities Blood pressure and a couple of other things.
Don't worry,if there is a problem they will not go ahead with any Operation.
All the best, and we hope you are well soon.

If you are just getting over a cold, then hopefully it should be ok. If you were just starting with one, then no.
Make sure you drink as much water and vitamin rich fruit juice as you can today, get a very early night tonight and see how you feel tomorrow. If you feel worst, you must tell the hospital because with it being nose surgery you do not want an infection in that area as it will delay would healing. Good luck, I hope you feel better.
PS don't worry about the surgery. Just relax, and think about how much better it will be when its all over. xxx

Get rhinoplasty surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

No Doctor will operate if there is a high risk of infection.
They are not GOD so you must tell them about your symptoms and other eventual patologies that you have BEFORE the operation!
Good Luck!
Ciao!

They will only cancel if they feel that you will not be able to breath throughout the operation. They will do tests before hand to monitor your heart etc.

If your blood work is OK and you are not running a fever, they probably will proceed with your surgery. It is very important that you report these symptoms when you go in.
