Only the right hand side. At the end of the day is more pronounced. At night, it limits movement, early morning is stiff and painfull. Massage does not solve, Muscle relaxant aids but does not solve. Any ideas on how to go back to normal? tks.

It is not a herniated disk, it is the muscles and ligaments.

I have been dealing withback pain for almost 2 years now, this last week it is now in my neck too. I am going to the ER right now, I suggest you do the same!

go to doc and tell him that you think it is a herniated disc in your neck

It probably is if there is...
-tingling
-sometimes pain
-weakness/less reflex than the other side

It is basically the same thing as when someone herniates a disc in their back except for you it might be in your neck.

Try a chiropractor. Also, don't sleep on your stomach.
