The opening to the stomach has a flap that once food reaches the stomach that flap opens to let it pass into the stomach and then closes to hold it in. If this flab should open for any reason then the food would then return to the esophagus and this is called acid-reflux.

that is how digestion works
problem is blood rushes to your head and you can not stay that way long
