Nope, sounds as though there may be a hymenoptera (bee=B) in the woodpile.
There *are* a handful of people in this world with Bombay blood type, which is where they may have the gene for either A or B, and due to an alteration in the closest sugar to the cell membrane, cannot attach the subsequent sugars which would express the phenotype on their cells, but the gene could be passed to others. By testing that we normally do, it would look like an O blood group. And by a handful, I mean it is probably less than 30, mostly in India. If you have suspicions, you need to get full DNA typing before jumping to conclusions.
As far as the Rh factor, the father could have Dd (Big D being Rh positive and d being Rh negative) and could pass the recessive gene to the child.
My guess is that one of the parents is mistyped, or thinks they know their type and has not really had it typed in a clinical setting.

I agree with fildax (sp?), however, if the babys' Rh factor is negative, the baby has to inherit that factor from the father therefore, the father should be Rh negative. BB tech.

That will depend on alot of family history. What your parents are as well as you and siblings. It is really hard to determine. You may just have to wait and see.

No, if both parents are type 'O', the offspring can only be type 'O' also.
